The Arts Council of Maumelle, under the direction of Robert and JoAnne Swindell presented a ceremony in rememberance of all veterans.

Invocation by The Reverend Luke Conway
Maumelle First United Methodist Church.
All visitors joined in the recitation of The Pledge of Alligiance To The Flag, led by Maumelle Veterans Memorial Committee President, Jim Alberson, Chief Warrant Officer 4, Ret.

The Presidential Proclamation was read by Dr. Harding Stedler.

makes introductory remarks
Following the introductory remarks, Jennifer Ragsdill, encouraging the audience to join her, sang America The Beautiful.
A recitation of "What is a Veteran?" was narrated by Pam Rantisi, Executive Director of the Maumelle Chamber of Commerce.

A wreath was placed in the memorial by Maumelle Mayor, Mike Watson.
A moment of silence followed and a somber "Taps" was played by Bugler Cadet Oliver.
The Benediction was present by Reverend Luke Conway.
